at University of Florida Performing Arts
Welcome Event & Opening Concert
The 2026 YDW Welcome Event & Opening Concert will take place at the University of Florida’s Curtis M. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts (UFPA).
Registered YDW students are invited to join us for a pizza social in the West Lobby before the performance. Upon arrival, please check in at the main lobby to receive your ticket(s) for the evening’s performance by RUBBERBAND Dance.
Each registered YDW student will receive one complimentary ticket to the RUBBERBAND performance.
For every 10 registered students, your group will receive one additional complimentary ticket for a teacher, chaperone, or other guest.
Additional tickets may be purchased through the UF Performing Arts Center Box Office.

Parking
Parking is available in the University of Florida Cultural Plaza parking garage and surface lots.
Parking is free on weekends and after 3:30 p.m. on weekdays.
For Phillips Center events, parking restrictions are lifted and event parking is free, including for weekday performances.
